I'm having problems on a new board with a lot of new members still using IMGUR and still trying to use Photobucket as a host for avatars, sigs, and other graphics. I would like to add a line of text to the avatar upload area warning people not to.

Essentially where it says:

QUOTE
Your avatar must be no bigger than 250 pixels by 400 pixels in size. Uploaded avatars from your computer must be no larger than 1024 KB.
The following file types are allowed: gif .jpeg .jpg .png

I'd like it to say:

The following file types are allowed: gif .jpeg .jpg .png
Please remember you cannot use Imgur, Photobucket, Tinypic or any non-secure hosts for your graphics. If you need more information, please ask a staffer.

Is there a way to do this?

I have a script somewhere that is blocking the quick-edit from launching. If you hover over the button then you just get javascript:void(0); and nothing happens when you click.

I have removed everything one by one and I still have the error so any assistance at this point would be appreciated. I don't know what I managed to do >.<

Hello!

I was trying to get this right on my own but I have just not managed it. In theory it should be relatively simple, but yeah. It's foxing me.

I have created a custom userlink structure but I would like it to be so that if there is a new alert or PM, the icon changes color.

So this is what I have now:

and this is what I would like to happen:

Any help is appreciated, thank you!

I'm feeling very foxed right now, and I decided to ask for help that than continue in frustration.

With the custom Main profile, I swore they accepted simple styling like <b> and <u>. If they do, how does it work. If they don't, sorry, I got my wires crossed somewhere.

Here is a link to a profile using them. Just scroll down in the history section. link

I have enabled this:
Allow HTML in Custom Profile Fields?
Note: Member group must also have permission to use HTML in order to utilize this setting.

And I have enabled DoHTML across all usergroups if that makes a difference.

I have 2 skinning questions:

1) I am building a skin for someone who wanted to know if there is a way to have editing tools show up on quick edit. I have never seen this so I thought I would ask if such a thing exists.

2) I have been experimenting with responsive designs, using bootstrap and media queries to have the skin resize and the sidebar move and all that and I have run into an interesting problem. I can get the skin to do what I want and to be the correct size on a phone, but the adverts that ship with free JCINK will not respond. Many are small enough but some are so wide they overlap and create a weird space on the right-hand size.

I know the adverts cannot be touched/moved/changed/skinned/etc because that is how you as a host stays in business so I was wondering if there was maybe a way on your end to make sure they scale with the device they are being viewed on? I know there is a JCINK mobile suite but I was just curious if this was possible or if they ship like that from Google/wherever.
