I'm trying to get thread templates to work on my site. I've set the forums to allow doHTML.

As a test, I tried to post this one that seemed to have a simple code :

CODE

[dohtml]<style type="text/css">

.wr {
width: 420px;
padding: 10px;
background: url(http://colourlovers.com.s3.amazonaws.com/images/patterns/1631/1631873.png);
}

.innerwr {
width: 420px;
background: #2A0308;
color: #7BA58D;
font-family: times new roman;
font-style: italic;
text-align: center;
font-size: 48px;
letter-spacing: -4px;
line-height: 60px;
padding-bottom: 4px;
opacity: 0.9;
}

.tagline {
font-family: Times New Roman;
font-size: 10px;
background: #2A0308;
padding-bottom: 5px;
text-transform: uppercase;
width: 420px;
letter-spacing: 2px;
color: #7BA58D;
opacity: 0.9;
}

.wr2 {
width: 400px;
padding: 10px;
background: #2A0308;
opacity: 0.9;
}

.innerwr2 {
height: 400px;
overflow: auto;
font-family: Times New Roman;
line-height: 11px;
padding: 4px;
font-size: 10px;
text-align: justify;
color: #7BA58D;
}

.creditline {
font-family: Times New Roman;
font-size: 10px;
text-transform: uppercase;
color: #7BA58D;
}
</style>

<center><div class="wr"><div class="innerwr">
title or quote here
</div>

<div class="tagline">
tag: --- // words: --- // notes: ---
</div>

<div class="wr2"><div class="innerwr2">
<img src="http://placehold.it/200x200" align="right" style="padding: 4px">

</div></div></div><div class="creditline">Template by Crystal of RPG-Resources.com</div></center>[/dohtml]

and the error it gave me was :

It didn't execute the code.

Do I need to add some code to the CSS or Board Wrapper to get this to work or is it a problem with my board settings or something else?

Thanks for your help,

I'd like to have the various group names (and their members) appear as different colors. Is that something I do at the Admin CP or is that a code in the CSS?

Hi,
I've seen sites that have the banner change each time the page is refreshed.

Does anyone know the code for that?

Thank you.

Forum Link/URL: http://lovecraftcountry.b1.jcink.com/index.php?

Problem: I want to use larger images for banners in the logo area. However, when I use an image that has more height than just a long narrow strip, the Ads section doesn't lower to adjust to the larger image the Ad layers on top of the banner image. Similarly, the Logged in as: line also doesn't shift down either the image runs into that.

I'm using the Basic Gray skin, by the way, if that makes a difference.

How can I shift those sections down?
