| So, the first thing I would like to say is I'm finally getting a chance to really dig into the custom HTML templates and it's so amazing. I seriously love it so much. Everything works beautifully, there are so many variables for customization, and it doesn't flicker on page load/cause any lag.
I love it. That isn't an understatement.
That being said... the one problem I have ran into is the inability to use a reformatted quote/code script. All of the scripts I've used in the past call upon specific table/tr/etc combinations to run a replacement. In custom HTML, those selectors just aren't working anymore? Maybe I'm understanding it incorrectly, and if so, I'd appreciate an explanation in laymen's terms if I'm missing something simple. But for the moment, I can't get any of them to work, and it's making me sad.
I've been struggling for a few days now trying to make custom code boxes with click-to-copy functionality. The whole time I've been fighting with it, I couldn't help but think, "I wish this was as easy as making an HTML template!" So, if that could potentially become a feature, I think it would be well received - not just by me, but a lot of people!

| I am planning to create customized code and quote box html templates, it just very difficult to do within the current bbcode system which is why it hasn't been added. some things beyond the template system will require a rethink/rebuild for me to get that done.
Most reformatted code/quote scripts are indeed looking for default post template elements and will need to be heavily adjusted to your own custom template in order to work.

|I second this feature, I am actually currently in the process of finding a collapsible code/quote entry that works with my current html templates and none do, but as they are installed right now, they can potentially take up a whole page. Is there an ETA on this? Is this something actively in the works or passive? Cause I can ask a coder or two for custom/ordered codes in the interim if necessary. (Also willing to donate directly to JCINK for such a feature if necessary).|

|As with most features we can't and don't give ETAs but I can tell you honestly this is not even being actively developed. Appreciate the offer for donation but we do not take donations for feature development -- sorry.|
