Can that feature be an option in the "My Controls" for members? I personally don't want it to be enabled for newly registered members but some of my members want to see them in every post.

It can, but I don't like adding new things to the userCP like that because it requires me to say, modify the member tables, I'd probably have to add another switch. May/may not do this in the near future. edit: i guess i could modify the sig settings.
